The Plaza on Hyde Park may be the hotel your looking for. If it is, I haven't stayed there, but stayed nearby at the Commodore Hotel three years ago. The Plaza looks nice from the outside. The location is great --- you're directly across the street from Hyde Park and very close to the Lancaster tube station. (I think it's the Lancaster station!) It's all near Marble Arch, not marbury arch (look for the Marble Arch tube station on your map) --- that may be why you can't find any information! Have Fun!

Hi, We stayed at the Plaza on Hyde Park for several days in September. Nice hotel, good location, very nice room. You will be staying with a lot of tour groups there, so it is easy to get information about London there, but if you want to avoid other tourists, this hotel will not do. I would stay there again, we did like it, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Hope you have a great trip!

I stayed at the Plaza On Hyde Park in May of 1999 while it was undergoing a much-needed renovation. We enjoyed the location -- especially being right across the street from the park. The renovated rooms are quite nice. We would stay there again. Some restaurants in the area that we enjoyed are The Black Lion, The Pavement and Mr. Frascatis.<BR>
