Plays in the West End, London

We expect to be in London the first week in July. We might take in a play in the West End. We hope for suggestions for web sites that discuss what plays are currently being produced?

Thanks, Ron. This looks like a very good site.

This site is also good, lots of info on the theatres themselves and seats to avoid etc.

Don't count out areas outside the formal West End. In our year in London we enjoyed also productions at The National Theatre, Old Vic and Young Vic (Southbank/Waterloo areas) and the Royal Court (Chelsea) typically at more reasonable prices than the big theatres in West End.

Yes, the National Theatre has a number of great plays that change quite frequently, so it is a good idea to check them out as well!

LittleFellow: Welcome to Fodors. If you noticed -- this thread was started 18 months ago. The OP was in London in July of 2009 so he isn't still looking for show recommendations.

You must have done some sort of search for 'London theatre' to dig this up. When doing that, be sure to check the dates and other responses to see if a new post is relevant.

Even when a thread looks as though it has expired, I am grateful for more recent information.
