I am interested in knowing what plays are now showing in London, I am leaving November 23rd for 7 days.This site has been such a great help to someone who is going to Europe for the first time.....

Elanor -<BR><BR>If you do a text search here for "London" and "theater", you'll find many threads with lots of helpful info. <BR><BR>Also scroll down (click on "Next 50" at the bottom of the page) to find a great new thread called something like "My favorite London websites" with an extensive list of websites for theater information, as well as other topics.

People have listed useful web sites, and for the National Theatre and blockbuster musicals your mother needs to choose online now, pick up a credit card, and phone the box office to book. But much of the best work is on the fringe, often not listed on any web site, so I hope she will leave evenings free, at her arrival airport buy a copy of Whats On listings magazine, read it in the boring train towards your hotel, and book by phone from a phone box.<BR><BR>Welcome to London<BR><BR>Ben Haines<BR>

Be sure to use the half-priced ticket booths around Leicester Square. No need to pay full price! We saw Blood Brothers (OK, a bit depressing) and The Unabridged Shakespeare (cheesy but I have to admit I laughed my head off) while we were in London two weeks ago.
