Planning to rent a villa in Tuscany Fall 2011

Does anyone know anything about Villa Nell'Oliveto located near Castlemuzio, Italy. I think it is located near Pienza. I've heard it was conveniently located to be able to get to other Tuscany towns and the pictures online look beautiful; but it would be better to hear some views from people who have stayed there.

Here's a review, although from 2002, from the Slow Travel website:

I don't know about Villa Nell'Oliveto but I can recommend Villa Cicolina near Montepulciano. We were on a family vacation with 8 adults and we all agreed this place was a dream come true.

I love the Castelmuzio location and was just there last month---see my recent trip report by clicking on my name. While there we saw this fabulous apartment[s] offered by Isabella Moricciani---it was the best I have seen in Tuscany.

BTW, are you from Indy---my original hometown.

Hi Bob.....yes I am from Indy (born, raised here, moved away for 18 years and back home again. This is our first trip to Italy and we tried to get into Casa Moricciani (but alas, it was full; but the good news is one of the apartments will be occupied by our best friends so we are within a "stones throw" away at the Villa Nell'Oliveto. There are 3 couples staying together at the Villa and 1 couple at Casa Moricciani. I talked to Isabella several times and she did her best to see if she could accommodate all of us, but it just couldn't be done. Btw....I've bookmarked and copied so many of your reviews; you are THE BEST!!!! I'll be bugging you lots more as we are going to Germany after our Italy excursion. Thanks for all your wonderful advice.
