Planning our trip
I am back at planning our next trip to Paris. We have always rented apartments and will do so again this trip. Our plan would be to stay a two weeks after a river cruise.. I have looked at this apartment and it appears to be perfect for us. Has anyone stayed in this apartment ? any pitfalls ?

Very expensive for its size (very small bedroom) but it looks very well appointed and beautifully furnished. Me personally - I'd never stay somewhere for 2 weeks in a flat w/o a bath. After long days walking/climbing sometimes I need a long soak.
But if you don't care about a bath it looks very nice.

I love the style and Guest Apt. Service is excellent (we stayed in Hibiscus.) I don't think it's too expensive for Paris, just not in our favorite area--Ile St. Louis. Obviously you know Paris so I guess the area is good for you.
2 weeks in Paris--ahhh! And after a river cruise, even better.

TPAYT - Did you find Guest Apartment Services easy to deal with regarding payment and deposit ? We have always stayed on the right bank so we are going to try a new area, we have walked though here and thought we would try it

I really like it and I don't think that is expensive for that nice an apt and size at all. I can't even remember the last time I used a bathtub so I really like the bathroom, I prefer nicely renovated modern bathrooms with a real shower like that. It calls it a St Germain location, which is, of course, not at all true, but I presume you know that. I can't imagine why they are saying that. I really like the location, that's one of the places I prefer to stay in Paris (it's the Latin Quarter, near rue Mouffetard and Monge). I prefer it to St Germain myself, and I think it might be more expensive in St Germain, actually (unless they are trying to fool people).
The only drawback I see is that the bedroom is very very small, you can tell it is barely bigger than the bed.

I think this apartment looks very nice. Nice location, lovely furnishings. Love the balcony. The bedroom may seem small due to the king sized bed but I don't think the size of the bedroom is a drawback as long as you can get in and out of the bed. It feels like Paris. The only thing that would prevent me from renting this place is the lack of a bathtub. I'm with janisj in that I always try to book a place with a bathtub. I did so on our last long trip and it was a great amenity after a long day of sightseeing. My husband however is perfectly happy with just a shower as long as he can use it. He's tall-6'2"-so some places from this last trip were a challenge for him.
Have a great trip!
