Planning - Looking for suggestions!
 

Hi all,

Looking for suggestions on stopping points between County Antrim and Killarney area. I'll be in Ireland for 16 days in September. After landing in Dublin we'll pick up the rental car and drive to Carrickfergus to spend 4 days there (family visit). After that we want to make our way to the Atlantic Coast and spend time exploring the Dingle and Killarney areas. I'm completely open to suggestions.

Here is the plan so far:
Day 1 to 4 - County Antrim area
Day 5 to 9 - completely open
Day 6 10 to 13 - County Kerry as base (thinking Kenmare?)
Day 14 - stopping point before Dublin (thinking the Cashal area or Kilkenny?)
Day 15 to 16 - Dublin
Day 17 - Fly home
