Scandinavia and Germany trip report
My husband and I just returned from a trip to Scandinavia and Berlin. We added in Berlin because one of our good friends is living there for a year. Overall, I was very pleased with the amount of time we spend in each place and how we traveled- I would do this trip again.

Activities: Photography Museum, Lizbeth Salander walk (bought map, didn't do officially tour), Vasa Museum, Archipelago tour, Rick Steves Old Town walk

I did like the National Museum- I would say it was good but not great. I really liked the bike tour we did- Bike with Mike; it was a great way to learn about the city and experience it. The morning ride well timed to show off the changing of the guards as well. Where else were you considering?

I'm only in Copenhagen for 1.5 days as a stopover before going to work. To get a taste of its history, architecture, and the city in general, for the full day I'm choosing between:
Rosenborg Slot
Nationalmuseet
Kunstindustrimuseet Design museum
Ny Carlsberg Glyptoteket
Frihedsmuseet Resistance
Then in the evening or early mornings I can walk around Nyhavn, Rathus, past the churches, etc.
I may be table to take the canal boat tour the morning before going back to the airport.
I've received some feedback about specific places:
Stu said the Resistance Museum is worth a visit for an hour, no more.
Valtor suggested the Thorvaldsen museum. (I only want to visit at most one art type museum.)
Nytraveler suggested Rosenborg, the national museum, resistance museum, and royal palace. Tivoli in the evening.
travelgourmet, I think agreed with you about the national museum (just another museum. nothing that compelling to recommend it over any other big city museum), recommending Rosenborg, the canal tour, and the marble church.

My favorites were the Vasa Museuum, Bike with Mike in Copenhagen, the National Museum in Oslo and Norway in a Nutshell. I liked the Reichstag in Berlin but was not impressed with an of the museums in Berlin.
