I'd skip the spa day(s) myself. You can have a spa day anywhere. I'd much rather see the sites, if it was me. (But I agree that day one is too rushed, and it looks like you're re-thinking that plan.)

I am rethinking our itinerary. The problem is, my sister wants to go ahead and try day 1 like it is. I am doing my best to talk her out of it so we'll see. The spa day(s) were put in there because my sister doesn't pamper herself like she ought to at home and because it's something we can do with my son (they have a creche). But, I just wanted to say that I like your emoticon! Thanks for your thoughts.

Thanks, BKP. I think you will have a very good time seeing your sister again, no matter what you do. The days will fall into place. I understand how childcare plays an important role in the itinerary. Have fun planning!
