planning difficulty, normandy and brittany

Jump to last reply

I have read through these forums and through two guide books, but am still having trouble settling on an itinerary for normandy and brittany (4 adults) early september. We have 8 full days. I cannot get a handle on where to base ourselves so we are not moving hotels too often nor driving too much each day. We like full/busy itineraries. Our plan is to do the following:

arrive paris, drive that day to giverny
after that, divide our time beween:
roeun /honfleur /etrelat /bayeaux/ d day beaches/ mont st michel/ dinan- (would like to do some walking or biking here too)/ possibly st malo/
1 day cheese and cider touring

it looks like it makes sense to spend at least 2 nights in bayeux
how should i apportion the other nights/days??

any help would be much appreciated
