Yes please do share - we all learn from your findings - so many never report back and it's always fun to hear about a trip after all the posts about what you could do!

Is it horrible of me that I feel better about a trip I am trying to organize for June for my son? His graduation trip with his friends fell through when his friends parents don't feel it's safe it's safe to to travel to Europe. So I have volunteered to take him
( YES ) I know, I know it's such a hardship on my part ; ) but seriously I get to spend time alone with my son enjoying his reaction to places he has never traveled before and I will cherish this time since he starts college next August! I have 3 sons 17, 14 and our late in life surprise who is 4. I work, my husband works and is deployed a lot for work. Between a ton of sports, school activities, housework and LIFE I still can't imagine just leaving a 23 trip to Europe from Australia up in the air until a week before departure. Yikes.

You don't need a lot of advance time to plan a trip. As long as you've got your plane tickets, and reservations to stay towards at least the beginning of the trip.

Buy a couple guidebooks, read them on the plane ride.
