Planes from Rome to Vienna
 

Is anyone aware of any discount airlines that fly from Rome to Vienna?

I hven't checked, but you'll typically find answers at www,whichbudget.com or www.skyscanner.net - - also worthwhile to check www.opodo.do.uk

And make sure to check Bratislva (Slovakia), which likes to call itself "Vienna East" (45 minutes shuttle bus to center Vienna).

Another possibility, though a bit more out of the way, is the airport in Brno, Czech Republic; not sure about flights from Rome, but several cheap airlines fly there and it's only 1:45 from there to Vienna on the train.
