Whether or not scones are "naff", they are really yummy topped with clotted cream and jam (or lemon curd.)

I have a British friend who's first trip to the US was to the South. He noted that Americans ate their scones for breakfast, covered with sausage gravy. "Sweet tea" also boggled his mind. :)
