What do you want to know? Wikipedia tells you about 'Les Invalides', a complex including Napoleon's tomb.

Maybe you don't know what the word "place" means in French, it is just a street term, similar to plaza in Spanish or square in English. It's just a area of land more than the usual intersection of two streets. That one is empty as far as I recall and is just for traffic (unlike some that have things on them like place de la Concorde).

But Christina, even if you know what the word means, there is an enormous difference between Place des Vosges and Place des Invalides. Can you dsecribe the difference? The fact that they are both called "place" tells you nothing about the reality of each place.

In case the original poster is getting lost in translation, Les Invalides is the site of the sprawling national military museum, plus the Dome where Napoleon's remains are enshrined, as well as other military-related functions. It is set in a park with traffic whizzing around the edges.

But even if you don't know what the word means, and I agree that knowing what the word means doesn't tell you much about what the place looks like, you can easily google it and get all kinds of descriptions and images for it.
