pisa hotels

Please could anyone recommend a hotel in Pisa for one night in Dec? We'll have one day only to look round Pisa as we have a very early flight back from Pisa airport. So ideally what I'm looking for is a hotel that is within easy travelling distance of both the main sights and the airport. Many thanks.

Hi.

I would suggest the Royal Victoria. Utterly charming and ideally located. You can walk anywhere from here; request a room at the front that overlooks the Arno.

You're welcome.

Try the Hotel Duomo. 100yds from the tower, baptistry etc.

I second the Royal Victoria. Really lovely hotel on the Arno. Staff was gracious and the rooms reasonable. I highly recommend it.

I forgot to mention that the Royal Victoria is about halfway between the airport and the Field of Miracles. We also had a very early flight out of Pisa airport. It was about E10 for the taxi to the airport.
