Pisa, Florence 4 day trip help!

I am planning a four-day trip to Florence and Tuscany. I will be flying in and out of Pisa, since the airfare is quite reasonable. What areas should I focus on, and how much time should I spend in each area. I will be flying in on a Sunday morning and out on late Wednesday night. I don't plan on spending a lot of time at the Uffizi, maybe 2-3 hrs.

Thanks!

I should also mention that I am planning on going during the second week of March. What kind of weather should I plan for?

Also, any hotel recommendations -- will be going with 3 other people.

Thanks!

Do a search on this board on Florence, it will bring up many topics. It is very difficult to suggest what you should do, as everybody's interests are different.

I really enjoyed walking the streets, visiting the markets (Particularly the covered food market - it was a real eye opener to somebody used to shopping in sanitized supermarkets with regular shaped vegatables), Fiesole for the views and the Roman theatre and the walk up to, and views from the Piazza Michaelangelo.

People on this board seem divided on Pisa. I think the tower is just one of a superb collection of buildings in the Campo dei miracoli. The Duomo and baptistry are stunning buildings and , in my opinion, worth spending time in Pisa. Many others find the city very disappointing

Jiyen,
Please give more information, otherwise it's very difficult for anyone to offer advice.

Does four days mean only 3 nights?
What is your hotel budget?
What part of Tuscany do you want to see other than Florence (which is in Tuscany)?

To clarify, I will be flying in early Sunday morning and out late Wednesday night....so 3 nights and 4 full days. Also, I am looking to spend no more than about 70-80 EUR total per night for hotel if that's possible (need to sleep a total of 4 people). I am really up for seeing anything....just don't want to get bogged down inside museums.

I am also considering, as an alternative going to Rome. What would be a better idea for the timeframe that I have and the fact that I am going in mid-March?

Thanks!

Hi J,

>70-80 EUR total per night for hotel if that's possible (need to sleep a total of 4 people).<

Is that per person?
