pink and white checked castle/ bed & brek, pizzeria
 

ok not alot of information to leave I'm afraid but if anyone can help with the information I've got would appreciate.
On my journey back from Tuscany to the UK via car, my family and I stopped overnight in the Italian alps, close to the Austrian or German border. It was a pink and white checked castle b&b, it was also a pizzeria/trattoria, the owners name was Adolph, I did pick up some leaflets of the castle to bring back to the UK, as a momento and to show my daughters where they stayed when they get older, but for the life of me I cannot find the leaflets, nor can I remember the name of the place, or village (although I think we paid cash, on going through bank statements for that time we did do a payment in the Limburg Lahn(de) area. On searching the web, I'm coming up with blanks) I know it had a elementare schuol behind it and there was a small brook to the side that ran through the village. I do have photos of it but no name on them. Is there anyone there who may know where I am on about. any sort of fedback appreciated

I feel as if I have seen this castle myself. I just asked my daughter if she remembers- we were in that general area a few summers ago.

Maybe some information that can help you look it up:

The highway from Bolzano to Innsbruck is called A22/E45. Is this the one you're referring to? Or is the SS12 a smaller route?

The region is called Trentino-Alta Adige.
