Great photos, Aduchamp! I really enjoyed your trip report too. Your "Walking on the Edge" photo is beautiful!

Aduchamp1 Nov 22nd, 2010 09:34 AM

Thank you. I appreciate it.

tower Nov 22nd, 2010 09:42 AM

winners all, W.A....want to see the others. Love to see some shots of Suha and the Esbelli, too. That Pamukkale pic is a keeper. The porno shots of Cap came out quite well, too. Ahmet's balcony must be the prime focal spot in Istanbul.
Stu (Chap 17 soon)

Thank you Stu.

I think Mrs Adu ahs all the photos of Suha. I still must send you one shot I took specifically for you. And no, they are not the Cappadocia porno shots.

And I hope you can come to NY next May for an exhibition which will be only Turkey pictures.

Michel_Paris Nov 22nd, 2010 10:05 AM

Thanks. Those pics from Cappadocia are great

Aduchamp1 Nov 22nd, 2010 10:12 AM

Thank you Michael. It is such an odd topography that one shot cannot capture the sense of the formations.

otherchelebi Nov 22nd, 2010 12:01 PM

I do not know what to say. The porno shots were of a photograph by a professional that is hanging on our living room wall. Adu just photographed that and a few from a guide book. he actually never made it to cappadocia. And if he posts any photos of an old and fat baldish guy standing or sitting with a 50 year old former model with a twinkle in her eyes, then it will mean that he has managed to capture my living fantasy with his artistic photography.

Good memories Adu.

Other

The way to stop porno is for you to appear in it.

Hope everyone is healthy and doing well.

O.C. You owe me a letter...

Treesa Nov 22nd, 2010 12:53 PM

Great photos, Adu. Also loved the banter between you, Other and Tower. If the three of you ever get together I want to be a fly on the wall.

otherchelebi Nov 22nd, 2010 01:09 PM

Thanks adu, i like your idea and will sacrifice my self esteem and will volunteer to appear if it will mean wiping off smut even for a few weeks. (and will appear again and again just to make sure it does not appear again.)

Stu, i picked a letter for you: "Q"
Now you owe me a number.
Is this a NYC game?

honestly, will deliver when i have something interesting to say!!!!

The best of Thanksgiving to all.

Thank you.

Be careful, Tower swats at flies and screams about being a big gorilla on the top of the Empire State Building.

A porno movie in Turkey means paying full retail for a rug.

Is this a NYC game

O.C...If it is, I don't know it...I live in California.
We don't play games...we're serious folks.

StCirq Nov 22nd, 2010 02:03 PM

Oooooohhh, Ahhhhhhhh - lovely, lovely pics!

Aduchamp1 Nov 22nd, 2010 02:14 PM

Thank you StCirq.

Actually Cappadocia in some ways reminded me of The Dordogne. People used to live in inaccessable caves for protection, high above the valley. This was evident in Goreme. They did not, however, rain hot tar down on their invaders. I think they threw German tourists at them.

jubilada Nov 22nd, 2010 02:46 PM

WoW!

Aduchamp1 Nov 22nd, 2010 06:57 PM

Thanks Jubilada.

StCirq Nov 22nd, 2010 07:01 PM

Adu, when I visited Cappadocia back in 1979 I hadn't been to the Dordogne, but I do see some similarities now that I know the SW of France.

Given my experience visiting Turkey back then, I would have condoned the throwing of German tourists.
