Venetian30, I'm sure you'll love the 350D. One word of advice - go to your nearest photo store and try to handle the camera "in person" before you decide to buy it. Some people complain that the body is too small for them ...

There are a few places to get a view like that, when the best is probably the observation tower on the Petrin Hill (which is a small imitation of the Eiffel Tower of Paris).
