Thanks again all. Hope you all enjoy your upcoming trips and share your own photos! It really is one of the best parts of travel for me. So much that I sometimes need to remind myself to take my eye out of the viewfinder and take it all in with my eyes!

Gorgeous pictures. Can't wait to return next year. There is just so much to see and do in this area. Absolutely love it.

Thank you for posting the link to your photos. They're terrific. We leave in about five weeks -- I can't decide if your photos make marking time easier, since they're so lucious, or more difficult, since they make me want to be there now!

Wonderful photos! We are biking around the sarlat/souillac area in a few weeks. Of the three cities; domme, La Roque-Gageac, and Baynac-at-Cazenac, which was your favorite? Since we are on bikes it is difficult to see everything and need to decide where to focus - we are traveling with a 17 and 13 year-old boy.

Fayew, they are great in different ways. La Roque Gageac was easy to drive in/out of and had cute cafes right on the water (same with Beynac). Domme had probably the best views of the three. Beynac was the most picturesque village, but has very steep streets that are not as easy to navigate (could be a good way to wear the boys out?)...So I think it depends on your interests.
