Picking up TGV Tickets at SNCF Boutique
I got those suckers all bought online. Now, when we get there and I go to pick them up, do I need to take the kid who qualified us for the child pass? I know to have a passport-type picture of him. We are six, 2 seniors, 2 kids, 2 regular adults.
Thanks. |
Any info?

I haven't bought one, but if no one else responds, the rules on the SNCF site do not say you have to bring the actual kid in with you. They say you must bring in an ID photo for the child plus documentation of his/her age that qualifies.

Jane,
Glad to hear you were able to make your purchase without a hitch (some people complain about glitches on the site, although it's always worked fine for me). All you need is a passport-size photo when you pick up your documents. The conductor on the train will check whether the picture on the Carte Enfant is of the child you're travelling with. Bon voyage! Andre |
Folks previously posting on this forum have said that the ticket seller does not confirm that folks qualify for discount tickets. That is checked on the train.
