PIANO BARS IN ROME

lOOKING FOR A GOOD PIANO BAR FOR EVENING ENTERTAINMENT AFTER DINNER IN ROME. ANY SUGGESTIONS OR RECOMMENDATIONS?

THANKS, CAROL

HI carol--I am sorry not to be answering your request, but I was thinking that--just a suggestion-- why not see what Rome has to offer instead of going into it w/a preconceived notion of what you want? I bet you find something really great.

They say that using all caps is called shouting and considered impolite as well as hard to read. Is the shouting because you've lost your hearing at too many piano bars?

Sorry, just couldn't resist. Afraid I've never seen a piano bar in Rome, but surely there must be one or more.

I would guess that you might look to see what large 4* or 5* chain hotels offer.

There used to be a Harry's Bar on Via Venneto, near the wall, that had a nice piano player . . our office was just down the street and we would stop in from time to time on the way to the parking lot under the Borghese Gardens.

I think the Gilda near Via Veneto should have a piano bar section, I am not sure though. My advice would be to ask your concierge who usually is a local and he/she would be able to give you better advices.

Jackie O should have a piano bar section too (oooops I had forgotten to give this in my previous post)
