Ah yes, Chez Louisette, I've been there and its great fun. The little old lady who was playing the last time I was there was a treasure. She sat down with us and we had a delightful talk. She apparently has a sister who lives in Texas.

I've been meaning to check these piano bars and this thread is just great-lots of good ideas. Next time I'm in Paris I'll check out Chez Louisette.

You're taking your granddaughter? What a lucky girl!

While we're on the subject of Piano bars, has anyone seen the Anglo-French movie called "And Now Ladies & Gentlemen"? You'll enjoy the piano bar scenes sung and starred by Patricia Kaas in French & English. She's the number one female jazz singer in Europe. Her album to that movie is called "Piano Bar".

Yes, but she's not a jazz singer but #1 pop. my favorite song she sings is Noir L'Aigle I think bettewr than the original by the French Barbra.

Thanks for correcting, you're right, my mistake. My wife & I only listen to her one & only jazz album because of the movie.
BTW Cigalechanta, can you answer my thread about Sault en Provence & Lavender?
