Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestions for useful and easy to use phrase books? There are so many published!!

Thanks!

I like the eyewitness travel guides phrase books. I have several. They are small and easy to carry. They have menus, travel, useful sentences, pronunciation, health, time, everyday phrases, mini-dictionary and conversion tables.

The Berlitz phrase book for Greek is pretty reliable. I always keep a few on hand for guests, and they are happy to have them!

I like Eyewitness too, but in Greece I used one from either Rough Guide or Lonely Planet. It was also compact and easy to thumb through.
