Yes, my own preference for potential (and return) visitors is just to give a glimpse of the atmosphere and how people look walking around the city. I do not see any need to make another video along the lines of "Don't miss the famous Eiffel Tower, built for the World's Fair of 1889!"

Kerouac, it has always been great to get some sense of the realities on the ground from your various posts. So true about the Eiffel Tower et al.
Btw, if you might want to view glimpses of some less-popular locations across France, je propose the YouTube episodes of the young Londoner, Hal Yusuf, aka 'Lifestyle (rebel) Hal'. Top-quality camera-work, discreet commentary and perfect pronunciations of each and every town's name. His episodes include other European countries, often done with a 'parts one and two' approach.
I am done. the footage

If you have any videos of the Eiffel Tower at night, I'd like to see.

People always think of Notre Dame, the Orsay and the Eiffel Tower when they think of views along the Seine. Maybe some day they will think of this.

I like it! But I like La Défense, so...
Is this part of the eco-district in Clichy/Batignolles?

No, that's the opposite end of Paris -- the Seine Rive Gauche area in the 13th arrondissement.

It won't be totally finished until later this year, but it is the 3rd tallest building in Paris after the Eiffel Tower and the Tour Montparnasse.

Cool. Thanks. I had never seen it either but remember seeing some funky buildings in an article on the eco-district.

So, today I visited the new Collection Pinault museum at the Bourse de Commerce at Les Halles. Any regular visitor already knows that the architecture is spectacular.

And of course the inside is pretty amazing, too.

I know that not everybody is a big fan of 21st century contemporary art, but you can see quite a bit of it in my full report.

Once it becomes practical to plan another Paris visit, looks like something new to see.

Beautiful building. Some works I appreciated (much) more than others. I admit I had to chuckle at the sudden closeup of the statue. Wasn't expecting that. Nor the pigeons.

They're starting to prepare the Arc de Triomphe for Christo's last wrap.

The Wikipedia article should satisfy most of your curiosity: Christo and Jeanne-Claude - Wikipedia

He also wrapped up the Pont Neuf in 1985, but I was not equipped photographically back then.
