Hi,

Great pictures! How did you like the Villa Rosa? We're booked there for next June.

Jocelyn - we liked the Villa Rosa alot, but were in room 20, right next to the reception and on the first floor (of 3 or 4) of rooms. Our room had a decent sea view, but think the others on that floor would have a very limited sea view and no view of the town, just of the hotel in front. having said that, we did have a lovely balcony (as seen in the pictures), it is a good price at 140E, is in a good location, the receptionists all speak excellent English and are helpful with restaurants, bus schedules, etc. I think if booking 7months ahead, you should be fine for getting a higher up room.

Adnil - have a great time!! drink lots of Limoncello for me. Julie

Thanks jck,

I inquired when I made the reservation and they said it should be the second or third floor.

I hope it's all as beautiful as your pictures appear!

Thanks for sharing your pictures, jck4 -- we enjoyed them. It looks like you had a wonderful holiday. We are headed to the Amalfi Coast, but unfortunately not until June, with a long, cold Chicago winter to endure in the meantime. This helps!

Thanks for sharing the photos, jck4!

I'm curios about the photos you have labeled Hotel Miramare in Positano. Is there another Hotel Miramare in Positano, because these were not taken at the Albergo Miramare I stayed at recently? The Hotel Miramare we stayed at was above Covo dei Saraceni AND it did not have a public terrace.

yes, I have since figured out from friends who stayed at the real Miramare that these are not from there. I saw this terrace from the road and thought i saw a sign saying Miramare but i guess it wasnt. who knows where it is!!
