Photos from the Midi-Pyrenees (and a few from Spanish Pyrenees)
I'm just back from the Midi-Pyrenees. Here are some photos from Toulouse and from the regions between Toulouse and the Pyrenees, including some just over the border in Spain.

Beautiful, Nikki! I loved all the market photos, and St. Bertrand-Comminges looked like an absolute postcard.
Looking forward to reading the trip report. BC |
I would love to be among the first to rave, Nikki, but I work in one of those offices where all of the photo sites are blocked. It will have to wait until I get home. :(

Perfect, Nikki.

Really lovely photos. The shots in the Armagnac distillery are wonderful. Such great colours.
Thanks for sharing. |
Great photos -- thanks for sharing. We'll be in the area in the Spring, so this was a wonderful preview. Did u do a TR on this that I missed?
|
Nikki, welcome back! Thanks for sharing the photos. I really like all the mountain shots, as well as photos of food and wine.
|
Ah, now I have seen the photos! Fantastic and colorful. However, I am afraid that I will never learn to appreciate artistic plates of food. Give me a big sloppy cassoulet instead any time. ;)
|
Thanks for the nice comments.
Actually, the cassoulet looked pretty good in its clay pot, I just didn't photograph it. There was plenty of messy food on the agenda; it just didn't make it into the photo album. |
Good eye, as usual, Nikki....your pix tell a story. I always say that our Massachusetts women "got talent"..
