Photos from recent trip to Italy - Rome
Hi all !
I just got back from my first (and hopefully not last) trip to Italy - in 14 days we visited Rome, Florence, Venice, Siena, Orvieto, S. Gimignano and a few more places. Italy is amazing ! During the trip I made about 1200 photographs, most of them will be uploaded to my gallery in a few days - there is a lot of post-processing work. So far I completed the Rome gallery, so you all are invited to drop by and take a look. Here is the address : http://www.pbase.com/olegis/rome&page=all Best regards, Oleg. |
Wow, what great photos!
|
Those are FANTASTIC!
|
Wow---terrific work !
I want to see your Venice and Tuscany shots. |
Hello Olegis,
Your photos are fabulous! The way you captured the simplicity of dew on the rose or the man with the newspaper - simply outstanding! Love especially the face on the wall with the water spewing out. We're heading to Italy in March. Seeing your photos has heightened my anticipation!! Thanks again. I look forward to any others you have. |
Gorgeous photos! And now we know the answer to the perpetual question: what to do on a rainy day in Rome.
|
Beautiful. Thank you!
|
Thank you all guys !
Additional photographs will be posted as soon as I finish them. |
Great photos, but it would help if they were labeled.
|
Fabulous! I hope I get as many good ones when I'm there next summer!
|

Hello Olegis, as others have said your photos are gorgeous. Breathaking actually. And oh the Roman sky! Thank you so much for sharing your photos. I look forward to seeing the rest of them. You are very talented.

I must say these pictures are really good, especially the interior shots of St. Peter's Basilica.
And I just love those parasol pines! I'm gonna make myself an espresso now. |
Post Card Perfect!
It looks like you got up early to take a few of those pics. What kind of camera were you using? |
Thank you for sharing your photographs of my favorite city. You really captured the essence of Rome. Looking forward to seeing the rest.

Thank you all for such nice and warm replies !
I use the EOS 10D camera from Canon with various lenses (the most useful lens in this last trip was Tamron 28-75 f/2.8). |
Professional quality. Excellent
