ticadonnita,
I believe you would have to go through the airbnb website to get in touch with Cesar. If you were able to find the apartment through the website, you should be able to find the link to contact him. If not, I'll be happy to look for the link later (I'm at work right now). We really enjoyed the apartment and meeting Cesar.
I also enjoyed the Santa Isabel in Toledo -- a simple hotel but fabulous location, and well maintained, with pleasant staff.

Thank you, progol. No, I have not been able to find him on airbnb and I am very familiar with using that site. We are staying with a great hosts in Barcelona and Granada. I booked Santa Isabel for Toledo, but am too late for the hotel you suggested in Ronda. Now looking at others on booking.com located nearby or will try airbnb.
Sorry to bother you at work, but would like to ask more questions when you have the time.

ticadonnita,
Feel free to ask questions! I'll write back when I'm not working and I'm happy to help with what I can.
I hope this link works for you; it is the link to the apartment in Madrid:

Thank you very much, progol. It worked this time when I clicked on the link. Booking it now so I don't miss out.
Did you see happen to see Hotel San Francisco when you were walking from Montelirio in Ronda? Even the hotel where you ate breakfast is booked already for Oct. 11 and 12, so I am looking on airbnb.
Now looking at booking tickets for Alhambra on ticketmaster..... I was not thinking Spain would be so busy in October.

I'm not familiar with Hotel San Francisco, but hotel Poeta de Ronda has a room available on booking.com for those dates. Great reviews and very good location. I'd book with them if it's still available.

emily,
Glad you enjoyed the photos of the Alhambra!
I have to say that it was harder to capture the feeling of the Alhambra compared to other Moorish sites. This was partly due to the crowds -- so many people everywhere! -- and the beauty of the Alhambra is somewhat subtle compared to, say, the Alcazar in Seville. We found the Alcazar much more immediate, as the arches, the tile work and other iconic aspects of the Moorish style perhaps more dramatic and easier to capture visually.

That's for sure 20 year old Alba Heredia in your photos from Casa del Arte Flamenco in Granada!
Yesterday she danced in the semifinals in the most prestigous flamenco competition in Spain. Wouldn't be surprised if she goes all the way: http://www.fundacioncantedelasminas.org/2a-semifinal/
Here she is in Casa Patas in Madrid a few months ago. A bit dramatic in the start, but great from 3 mins and full flow from 4.30: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZo2869kZtM
You might have experieced a future star in a very early stage of her career.

Kristinelaine -- so glad the photos have inspired you! It is a pleasure to look at my photos and have such wonderful memories. I'm sure you'll have a fabulous trip - how could you not?!
kimhe - that's wonderful to know about Alba Heredia! She was wonderful! And so were the rest of the performers. We so enjoyed going to the Casa del Arte Flamenco because it was such a relaxed and truly intimate experience. It seemed to us that the Casa del Arte Flamenco was still getting "discovered" and the artists were genuinely appreciative of the audience. The performance felt very spontaneous.

And just wanted you to know that Alba Heredia just got the most raving reviews I've seen in years in the major flamenco magazine deflamenco.com, seems like it was a magical night in Pamplona: http://www.deflamenco.com/revista/re...n-fire1-1.html

Thanks for this, kimhe! I just noticed the post. Attending the show at the Casa deal Arte in Granada was such an unexpected pleasure! We had no expectations of the show but we had such a wonderful time, especially since the performers seemed to enjoy it so much. They also really seemed to,appreciate the audience.
