Thanks for the continuing accolades - I'm almost embarrassed. I'm sure all of you about to travel to Provence and the Cote d'Azur will have a great time.

Mahya2 - I think I had that particular paella at La Goelette in St. Jean Cap Ferrat, located harborside. But many restaurants in Provence and along the Cote d'Azur have wonderful paella; we saw vendors at markets in Isle sur la Sorgue and Lourmarin also had prepared huge vats of paella to sell.

Villa Kerylos was built by and for Théodore Reinach in the first decade of the 20th century in Beaulieu sur Mer. Reinach was from a wealthy banking family and was an admirer of all things Greek (he had studied Greek history and culture extensively as a young man). He hired an architect to design and help him build and furnish the villa. Villa Kerylos is a fascinating place - and you can get "double tickets" to see it along with Villa Ephrussi Rothschild (in St. Jean Cap Ferrat) at a savings (I recall the total price was about 12 €/person. We "did" both of them in one day.

Loved your pictures. Brought back some great memories. The doorway pictures are some of our favorites. We also take a lot of those.

It was nice seeing a different look to the flowers and fields because we always go in Sept.

Apartments are a wonderful way to experience the area.
Merci!!!
