Photos from Europe, my New Favorite Site

I was searching for photos of various towns in Europe to help me decide where to visit. I found this gentleman's website which contained photos and commentary of places he has visited in Europe and around the world, over the past 45+ years. It is truly amazing and I let him know I would share the link to his site on Fodors. The photos are broken about by country, and key travelled cities. There are even some photos based upon train travel. It helped me decide to visit some places I might not have otherwised toured.

Enjoy.

In his Dutch photos under village life he has a photo of a woman riding a bike. She is from Bunschoten, which is not far from me.
The two old men wearing black traditional outfits are from Urk.

A shame he concentrates so much on Amsterdam though - everyone takes the same photos whether in 1976 or 2007. I would have liked a few more out and about from him.

I had read someone's Paris trip report where they visited the town of Bayeux and was curious so I searched for photos and found that website. I also remembered that their is a cruise which includes Copenhagen, Finland and Estonia. I was really curious what Estonia looked like. Now the "entrance to Old Town" photo from this page, http://www.galenfrysinger.com/estonia.htm
is the background on my computer.
