Photographing the lavender in Provence

Hello fodorites

Bikerscott and I just returned from 8 nights in the Luberon. We had a fabulous time eating, drinking rose and photographing the lovely area.

Highlights were the lavender, lovely meals, a morning spent with Jean-Luc Rabanel, and the sun!!

If interested, you can see our photos here

Happy summer everyone!

Your pictures are absolutely stunning! I hope you do a trip report (please), I would love to read about the food and seeing the lavender field.

Thank you for sharing.

Loved your pictures. From little details to slice of life to wide vistas, they are all lovely.

I am adding my plea that of the café goddess for you to write a trip report. You and Biker Scott always do such a fabulous job with trip reports!

Looks wonderful. We have not been to Provence and this makes me really want to go. And, I do love a rose wine!

Your photos display such vibrant colors. Absolutely gorgeous. I love this area of France but haven't been there when the lavender is in bloom. Thanks so much for sharing. And I need a slice of that raspberry dessert RIGHT NOW! Yum.

Wow, those are fabulous photos, thank you so much for sharing them. I just sent the link to my husband saying we might need to go back to Provence to see the lavender in bloom! I normally don't like traveling during the summer but these pictures have me packing my bags.
