Photographic trip report: Côte d'Azur and Provence

for the Provence

The Provence albums includes previous pictures of the Provence. Eventually there will be a written report, but I still have to process the pictures taken in the Alps, the Pyrenees, Spanish Basque country, the Asturias and Madrid.

I am not sure that this will work. For one thing, the viewer must enable Adobe Flash. For another, what I entered does not correspond to the URL that comes up, so I do not know if it would work the same way for everyone.

I highly recommend Google Photos for these kinds of reports - easy to make albums, easy to caption, easy to share. I do all my reports with this tool - see my most recent one as an example: Paris: more unexplored curiosities

OK. I determined for sure that my original posting does not work without the Adobe Flash Player.

Let's try this:
for the Côte d'Azur

for the Provence

Does this work if you are not using Firefox?

For several reasons, not the least that I am not about to spend the time transferring all my albums to Google, I'll stick to Flickr.

Michael, I had the same issue - started with a Sony site, then they shut down. Switched to Kodak - how could they ever go out of the photo business? Ha! Finally moved to Google - now if they ever go out of business ...

These are most interesting photos, Michael. What lens did you predominantly use? They sure brought back happy memories.

I use a Panasonic DMC FZ300 which has a 25-300mm lens. Clicking on a single picture rather than looking at the slide show will give this type of information.

Thanks for that info. Good long reach on it. For travel, I will have to start considering something along that line as carrying lenses gets to be a pain in the neck - literally - after a while.

Beautiful pictures. We'll be visiting many of these places in about 3 weeks. It'll be our first time in Provence. I'm even more excited now! Thank you for sharing.

What a stunning collection of photos, Michael. I love the variety of landscapes and those little towns. Sometimes wish I had the courage to hire a car to get to some of these places.
Glad you were able to sort the photo sharing problem.
