Photographer need in Ravello!

We are eloping prior to jetting off to the Almafi coast for a few days. We've definitely rocked the boat with our parents by deciding to do this. In an effort to make peace, we'd like to have a couple of nice photos taken to use in our wedding announcements. We can have photos taken in Positano or Ravello, whichever works out better. Thoughts?? Oh! We'll be there the third week of May.

First off, congrats! Second, don't for one moment let anyone make you feel bad about eloping. In my opinion people usually spend way too much on weddings. It's ONE day! Better to elope or have a small ceremony and spend the $$$ on an amazing honeymoon. I have seen many couples regret big weddings, wishing they used all that money for travel instead. One friend if mine looked back on that day and said "for the price of my dress, that was worn once, we could have had a week in Italy". Instead they went to San Diego, because after the wedding, that's all they could afford. Some people get too caught up in the wedding and forget about a marriage.

So, good for you!

I know off-topic - but have you looked into all of ht epaperwork of marrying in Italy. Many people need a wedding planner - who would help find a photographer.

Thanks! We will have been married prior to leaving by a judge. We just want to say vows to each other there and take pictures to remember the moment. Any ideas?

We literally bought a house two weeks ago. That's where our wedding money went;)

Are you staying at a hotel? They may be able to refer a local photographer. A Google search turns up a few names and websites. They may have portfolios online too. Good luck!
