Bonjour Sliver,
I guess I haven't put enough smileys in my message ... or you were in a bad day. Just to let you know, I'm one of those Euros who knows about soap and deodorant, and who apart to poking fun at American tourists spends part of her time at the bistro terrasses explaining to the waiters that they are used to drinks with a lot of ice, that it's not a sin as long as they don't put it in the Bordeaux, and could you bring more than just one cube, that would be so nice and make the tourists feel welcome, especially when it's so hot, thank you so very much. ;-)

Thanks for the info Peep, we'll be in Munich on Saturday. We had not yet packed anything but hot weather clothes. We're travling on to Venice, Rome then London. I've heard all those places are very hot.

When it got up to 75 here in Northern Ireland, people started complaining that we were having too much sun, and that we could really use some rain (it hadn't rained for two days).
People in Ireland seem to be comfortable only between 50 and 60F
