And what about Chatsworth? That's were the earlier BBC "Pride and Prejudice" was partially shot, if I remember correctly.

To Scarlett (who loves Great Dixter)--I noticed that Christopher Lloyd passed away last week at age 84. There was an interesting article about his gardening life at Great Dixter in the most recent Economist Magazine which I read last evening on the flight home from southern Africa.

Also there is a B&B on the grounds of Sissinghurst. I don't know if it is National Trust run or privately run. I tried to book it a couple of years ago but it was filled.
