Pensione in Venice
 

My wife wants to spend about a month in Venice this fall and is looking for a pensione. The kind where they serve breakfast and one meal a day. Any suggestions? Thanks.

We just got back from our trip, and stayed at the Pensione Accademia in Venice, but they just serve breakfast. <BR>This pensione was exceptional, but booking it now for fall may be a problem. We made our reservations 8 months in advance.

Debbie, I just booked at the Accademia for next year. The URL is http://www.pensioneaccademia.it/<BR><BR>I sent the request via email, to which they responded within a day and requested a one-night deposit by money order or personal check. Once they received my deposit, they emailed me to let me know that everything was set.

Rod, Just so that you have another option, I believe the Pensione Seguso (in the Dorsoduro on the Accademia side) serves breakfast and the last I heard they have half-board (another meal included). You might want to do a search on here to see if anyone else has any comments since I can't personally vouch for them.
