Not stayed there but have waalked up the street quite a few times and as recently as 9 or 10 days ago.
can't comment on the hotel but the location is very good.in a fairly narrow street with few cars driving through but quite busy are with pedestrainas.several bars and restuarants in the immediate vicinity including the very lively O'Che's bar.
it is easy to walk to Old town square from there and you are only a short walk to get trams and metro's if you need them. Numerous bars ,cafes and restaurants withing 5 minutes walking distance.I have stayed nearby on Husova fairly recently and would say its a damn good area to stay in.

one suggestion is to take a compass with you, that part of the Old town has quite a maze of little streets and squares and if you have a compass at least you will know what way is north and can orientate your self to the direction you require.

I stayed there for 4 nights in 2007. It was perfectly fine for what it was. .. simple low budget accommodations in a convenient location. If this is ok with you and what you are after then I recommend it.
