Pension or farm stay near Mittenwald, Germany?
 

Any suggestions on beautiful places to stay near Mittenwald? We will be with our 12 and 16 year old daughters and are wondering about a farm stay.

We would love to be a little out of the village but within walking distance.

Any ideas?

look at this site. It is not a big booming village and this is one that is on the outskirts of Mittenwald. Nice thing is the train there makes going places so easy if you don't want to drive but go to GaPa for the day or to Austria.

I can highly recommend the farm "Neuwirth Hof" located about a mile outside of town, with a great view of the mountains.

I have been coming here for years and it remains my favorite place in Mittenwald.

Rooms are 25 euros per night including breakfast.

Thanks for the ideas. I have checked into Bauernhof Neuwirth-hof and it sounds great. I can't really find much about it online. How close is it to Mittenwald? Do they have animals? How are the rooms?

A mile outside of town. I thought you were basing yourself there so suggested the apartment but a hotel or guesthouse if probably better.
