Pegasus vs. Turkish Air?

Hello,

Does anyone have a personal preference of which airline to use to fly domestically in Turkey? My husband and I are planning to fly from Istanbul-Ataturk to Izmir, then back to Istanbul a few days later, in March. Pegasus Air is considerably less expensive which makes me lean towards them. Would anyone care to share their Pegasus experiences, good or bad? Thanks in advance!

I personaly use Pegasus only if I can not fly with Turkish. Altough money today is dearer, money is not everything :-)

Pegasus usually flies from Asian side Sabiha Gokcen airport and early hours of the morning.

One is star aliance member airline the other one is low cost carrier....

Murat

Thanks for your reply! I have a flight on hold with Pegasus that flies out of Ataturk-- and actually the early morning flights work perfectly with our schedule. I just wanted to make sure that no one had any REALLY negative things to say about Pegasus.

Than that should be fine. They charge for drinks & snacks buy Hey when someone gets a deal for a 50 min. flight few dollars for a drink or snack should not be a problem.

I would say go ahead and book.....

Happy travelling,
Murat

Pegasus is fine. Planes are new, service is good. Only difference is that you have to pay for the food, and with price difference, who cares? I say go with Pegasus, espacially for a 45 min. flight, I always use Pegasus or Ýzair.

Have fun,
Dennise
