Paying the entire tourist guide fee on first day
 

My individual private tour guide in Ukraine and I already agreed for a price of touring five days. The tour will start in a couple weeks in Kharkiv. The tourist guide asked for the payment of the entire fee on the first day. I fear my individual private tourist guide’s request is too much to ask. What should I do?

Why wouldn't you pay for the guide at the beginning (or even earlier, when you booked)? That is very common.

If you don't want to pay the guide at the beginning, don't use him/her and make other arrangements.
