Pastor in Paris?? Need help!!
 

Hi Fordorites,

I have a rather unusual request... I have a dear friend who is going to be in Paris for her 20th anniversary. It just so happens that my husband and I will be there at the same time (not planned) Her dh would like to surprise his wife by doing a vow renewal - but has hit a dead end of locating a Pastor to officate. Does anyone know of someone that might be able to do this? It is not a long drawn out ceremony - he would like to do it on the Effiel Tower (which he has been told no on) I suggested on the River... but if anyone has another suggestion I am open to it and think he would be receptive.
So..we are looking for a Christian Pastor and a lovely place :-)

There is a church over by the Eiffel Tower but on the Right Bank not far from Champs Elysees that i've passed by several times and it is called something like the American Church of Paris - for Americans living in Paris. That's all i know but at least could contact them with that question.

American Church on Quai d'Orsay is an interdenominational, evengelical church and is celebrating 150 years of ministry in 2007 with extensive ministries among ex-pats and visitors. Get in touch with the ministry team, esp their wedding co-ordinator, with contact details on http://www.acparis.org/
There are also three Anglican churches there: American Cathedral, St Michael's and St George's (both Church of England). Google for contact info.
