Passport kudos
 

Eight days ago we mailed our applications for passport renewals. They arrived in the mail today. Not bad!

People gripe to their congressman. I'd suggest you send kudos to him/her to pass along.
People are only too willing to pass along demerits, and rarely pass along the merits.

That is amazing! Tomboy is right. You should give them a call thanking them. I'm sure they're only used to ranting phone calls. They'd be pleasantly surprised to get a positive call for sure.

Wow. It took 11 days for me. Seriously, one of my friends was planning on going to Europe last summer with her mother- she didn't get her passport in time- 6 months! Her dad went instead. Very sad..... I'm sooo glad they've improved on that!

This just happened in my family as well. Looks like things are on the up!

My husband renewed his passport last month and he had the new one back in about 10 days. Let's hope that fast turn around time continues!
