Passau Germany need help

I will be in Germany in about 3 weeks. I have tried all search engines and German tourism site to get info on Passau. There is nothing out there!!!!!
This is why I need to turn to the savy and well informed fodorites out there.
I am looking for info on sites, shops, restaurants and
business hours on all the above.

All and any input is greatly appreciated.

Passau is a lovely small town with great character. The late Gothic cathedral of St. Stephen has an exceptionally organ, and there are noon-day concerts during the week. If you can get ta ticket for one of the concerts by the "Sparrow" choir of young boys, leap at the chance--they are wonderful.

The town hall, just off the Domplatz, is interesting and has its own restaurant, the Ratskeller. All over the town you will find bakeries and pastry shops--hard to resist!

I really, really liked Passau.
You might want to browse its listing inthe Fodor Visitor's Guide to Bavaria.

Passau is a lovely town of great character. The Old Gothic cathedral of St. Stephen has an exceptionally fine organ; check the schedule for concerts, usually one during the noon hour. If you are lucky enough to be in Passau when the cathedral boy choir is singing, try to grab a ticket--the choir is on a par with the Vienna Choir Boys.

There's a beautiful section of Baroque houses around the cathedral area, and the town hall is well worth a visit; there's a good restaurant there, the Ratskellar, as well. You'll find excellent bakeries, too.

I really, really loved Passau--I hope you do too. You might check the entry for the town in the Fodor Visitor's Guide to Bavaria.

The official website of the city of Passau: http://www.passau.de has an English version but they forgot the link on the front page. Open the German page, click "Tourismus", there you'll see an English flag to click which takes you to the English version.

Underhill and quokka you are true
gems. Thanks for the input. I am
all over it. I will try to get tickets to the boys choir if I possibly can. I just received my tickets for the Viennas boys choir
thanks to the help of another great fodorite.

Thanks once again for your help and your time.
