Parma, Italy?

Hi everyone!

Can anyone reccommend a place to stay in Parma, Italy? Looking for something intimate and small if possible... If not, what hotels/B&Bs would you suggest?

Thanks in advance!!!!

It's actually for a client of mine so I'm not sure... She's just looking for something unique and personal... Not a huge, fancy hotel. Thanks!!!

Here's a list on tripadvisor.com of the hotels in Parma that have been rated by people that have stayed there.

You might look at Palazzo dalla Rosa Prati. Seven rooms, old palazzo, very atmospheric.

We stayed at the Hotel Torino in August 2005. Good size, clean room, huge bathroom, nice balcony with views of the Duomo (I think), satisfactory breakfast (but no meats or cheeses which I would have expected especially in Parma), the staff were friendly and helpful (English spoken), and the location was central to everything.
And my husband found his favorite gelato in Italy off a piazza in Parma not so far from the hotel that he couldn't go out again about 10:00 pm for one more scoop.
