Parma hotel help?

I'm hoping to spend a night in Parma when traveling through Italy, but I've found very few recommendations on this board. Does anyone know of a place near the historic center at 150 Euros or less?

Hi there,

a friend of mine lives in Parma. She suggests Hotel Torino http://www.hotel-torino.it/

She said is very central and well-known for the courtesy of the staff. Good prices.

Hope it helps ;-)

Hotel Button is nice. About 100 euros and is right off Piazza Garibaldi, Parma's centro. We've also stayed at Hotel Toscanini which is also nice. Toscanini is about 5 minute walk from centro. Tell them both WebVisionItaly sent you.

Here's a video intro to Parma, one of Italy's great cities:

IMO a very nice and sweet accomodation is LA PILOTTA R&B, very close to the magnificent Palazzo della Pilotta.
Few charming rooms and a great service.
Look at its website: www.lapilotta.it .

Another vote for Torino. It's nothing fancy but clean and pleasant and very well located.

I stayed at Hotel Button last year, also at the recommendation of a friend in Parma. The room and bath were unusually large and comfortable. Breakfast was good and it is right in the center of the historic center. It was an excellent value for around 100 euro. (Actually it was 95 then). So it looks like you have several good choices.

Thanks everyone! I will check into all of these places. And thanks motorino_man for the great video link.
