Parking outside of Dublin, how to get in to city?
 

Hello,

I will be picking up a car at the Dublin airport and then heading to Galway. But first, we'd like to go to a few places in Dublin (we've already been here, so just want to spend a few hours hitting our fav spots). Is there a car park near a dart or luas station that I can easily get to (read: avoid a lot of city driving) and then take public transit in and out of easily? I prefer not to make multiple trips to the airport in one day. Ideally, we'd be perfectly located to jump the highway and head to Galway - but that might be asking too much!

I think it is as convenient to leave the car at the airport as to try anything else. But if you are really keen to use a different option, you could use the park & ride at the Red Cow: https://www.luas.ie/red-cow-car-park.html
