Parking in Positano

Is it feasible to expect to find parking for a rental car for 5 nites in Positano? The pension where I am staying has no lot, it's located away from the street.

When are you going? Parking spaces are like gold dust in high season, and don't come cheap - expect to pay € 25-30 per day. I believe there are only a couple of public parking lots.

Hi italia,

Are you sure you need a car on the Amalfi Coast?

Can you contact the pension to ask if they can make arrangements for you.
This probably will not be cheap, but at least you know you will have a place reserved.
Places are scarce and the few lots are expensive.
Have a great time. We had a car with us and enjoyed the freedom to come and go without waiting on the buses, boats, etc.

Hi

Don't know where you are staying but, there is a parking lot across the street from the Hotel Posa Posa and the Best Western Pasitea on Via Pasitea. They charged us between €18 and 20 per day I don't remember exactly.

We NEVER used the car only took buses and boats. Hope this helps a little.
