Where to Meet Husband (Cab drop) at "Entrance" to Victoria Train Station?

Hi everyone,

Before we leave on the Gatwick Express, we'll be having a quick lunch at Cardinal Place shopping center.

My husband is going to take the Tube to our nearby hotel and bring all of the luggage to the train station in a cab. I want to meet him where cabs drop people off to help him unload the luggage.

I can't tell from Google streetview where the actual entrance to Victoria Station is (or frankly, where cabs drop people off).

Can someone give an exact address of where cabs are authorized to drop passengers?

Thanks!

Taxi drop-off is to one side of the main concourse, fortunately on the same side as the Gatwick Express and the left luggage, which is between platforms 7 and 8. Roll the cursor over the symbols on the map for more details.

Unless you are travelling between 4:00pm and 7:00pm on a weekday then save some money by taking the Southern Trains service to Gatwick instead of the GEX

Patrick, thanks so much for that link! So if I'm reading the map correctly, I would meet him where the taxi sign is, on Victoria (where it says Taxi Victoria Street), right? I'll have my kids with me so it'd be easier not to get lost through a crowd of people =)

alan--I'll check it out. We are leaving around 3:30 pm, though, and we're getting the 5 for 3 deal so it's actually not too pricey.

If you're approaching the station from the outside across the bus station or up from the tube station, aim to the right-hand side of the main station concourse. I'd suggest you wait outside the station at street level by the London Underground ticket office.
