parking costs Seville, Cordoba

Hi!
Can anybody comment how high are the parking costs in Seville and Cordoba at day/for overnight? I am going to these cities by a rented car, but most of the hotels I am checking don't have parkings, instead they say that I have to leave car in pay-to-park.

Thanks!

I'm going to do what I usually don't and that is ask if you have thoroughly thought out the need for a rental car?

I am going to Andalusia for a week on a route: Jerez-along the coast-Granada-Jaen-Cordoba-Seville and I think it is better to be mobile on my own instead on relying on local transport. The question for parking stands only for Seville&Cordoba, as for the other nights/places I have found a solution.

We parked in Sevilla in an underground on Avenida de Menéndez Pelayo which was close to our hotel - Amadeus - for 3 days. I don't remember the exact amount - maybe 6€-8€ per day - but it wasn't very expensive.

We were 1/2 way thru our road trip & I worked out that it was cheaper to keep the car than drop & re-rent due to weekly rate discounts + transport etc. A lot less shuffling around too. I also thought we might drive out to Italica but we skipped that due to the summer heat.

I am only passing along the answer to a question I asked myself, so please know that this is not from personal experience:

In an area about 1.5 km from the downtown core, it is around € 15 a day. Out at the airport, it is around € 1 per hour (might have a daily cap, I don't know.)

Thanks, Rai for your reply. I would agree you have made the right decision.

Well it might have been a bit more (insert smilie here), but it was still a lot easier than dropping the car, getting transport & then reversing the procedure - all with luggage. I've always found that simple is best when traveling. Driving in the Barrio was fun too . . .
