Parking @ Chiusi Train Station
 

I know I read something here last year on parking at the train station in Chiusi but can't find it now. Anyone familar with the parking situation at or around the Chiusi train station? Thanks

I was there a couple of weeks ago attempting to find a parking spot. There is parking right at the train station, but it is only for 4 hours. I arrived to catch a 10am train and the lot was full. After driving around, the public parking places I found were filled or were limited to 1 hour parking. I eventually found a dirt lot near a strip type mall, 5 minutes from station, and parked there. There were no signs indicating it was either illegal or safe to park, I just took my chances since there were lots of other cars there. Got back from Rome about 11:30 pm and the car was the only one in the lot. As I recall, as I neared the train station (heading south) I came down a hill, saw the sign for the train station, and a curve in the road. The strip mall is on the right side of the street and the parking lot is just beyond the 1 hour public parking. Give yourself plenty of time to find a spot. Hope this helps

Good advice Jackie, my friends parked at the train station when they went to Rome. The people there said it would be fine. When they returned they had a 35 Euro ticket. I ended up paying it at the airport at the Post office in Terminal C.

Rick. Chiusi Station is connected by a tunnel running under the tracks and at the end of the tunnel is a free 24 hour car park that all the locals use. You access the car park from the other side of the station, down a well marked driveway very close by the big supermarket,
